February 2026 Blog (Japanese Translation)
Uh... just... let me catch my breath for a second... just a little longer... 😮💨
Hi everyone! February was really hard. I worked nonstop, writing and reviewing over and over, and we hit a record high for the number of developer tutorials produced!
But it's not over yet. In other words, before I can return to that beloved city of mine... yes, that one... this pace will continue a little longer.
As a result, this report is quite plain. Only plots, no screenshots. I know, I can hear the booing.
Summary of What We Did
Content Writing Developer Page (task-docs-dev): We created tutorials about creating and signing multisig accounts, transaction sponsorship (gas fee delegation), and adding account restrictions.
Developer Page (task-docs-dev): We added a serialization table and WebSocket API to the reference guide.
Textbook Page (task-docs-textbook): We added a metadata page to the textbook.
Review Developer Page (task-docs-dev): Zero created new tutorials on how to link namespaces to addresses and mosaics, how to add metadata to accounts, namespaces, and mosaics, plus creating mosaics, updating mosaic definitions, namespace receipts, mosaic revocation, and chain state. All were reviewed and published.
NEM: CryptoBeliever did an amazing job writing a complete OpenAPI specification for the NIS1 REST API. It totals 180 files and more than 4,500 lines of YAML, and required weeks of review exchanges. This will be used for the upcoming new NEM documentation.
Now I just need to convince him to do the same for Symbol's REST API. I think the current documentation can still be improved a lot 😊
Management I created a roadmap for developing the new NEM documentation site and received art direction from the art team.
For one month, two writers will work full-time on tutorial production, so we needed time to prepare task lists and job batching.
Here is the relative time allocation for each task this month:
Documentation Progress Status
This is the current status of all documentation tasks. Please pay special attention to the top item, "Symbol Documentation." The other items are listed as its subtasks. The bars in the chart represent the number of completed subtasks. Those completed this month are shown in orange.
As you can see, we made major progress in many areas! If the overall Symbol Documentation bar doesn't seem to move, it's because I keep adding tasks there, and that temporarily pushes progress backward. Once those tasks are completed, the top bar should jump forward significantly. 😁
So that was February: work, work, and more work, with no fun at all. Which means no XYM City either. But actually, this was good for the game! Taking a bit of distance let me review it with a fresh perspective. When I return to XYM City, I'll come back with explosive energy and a little more to talk about there.
What's Next
Zero and I will continue the Symbol documentation sprint until the tutorials are completed.
After that, he will move on to the new NEM documentation, and I will go back to reviews... then work on XYM City.
Also, the new Symbol wallet is progressing smoothly, and I will write guides as soon as it is complete. These are easier than developer tutorials.
I'm not out yet, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! And it's neon-colored. 😎
Thank you for reading this far. See you again next month!
