NEMTUS Hackathon 2026 HACK+
NPO NEMTUS, an organisation that promotes the adoption and development of blockchain technology, particularly the NEM and Symbol blockchains, is holding a kick-off event for its "NEMTUS Hackathon 2026 HACK+", which will take place from December 2025 to March 2026.

HACK+2026「Re:Free -Redefining Freedom-」
HACK+2026 '"Re:Free" is a hackathon exploring what it means to create freely within the Web3 world which is becoming a reality in our society. It offers a new perspective on blockchain technology from the viewpoint of individual creators. This central focus on 'Free' is precisely why we are holding the event again in 2026.
Theme 1: "Free"
Unleash your "likes". Unleash your "discomforts".
Even as regulations are established and industry expertise advances, the core principles of blockchain — autonomy and freedom — remain unchanged. This is what makes blockchain technology so appealing. This concept transcends industry, business model and format. Unleash your likes, passions, discomforts and questions, and distil the concept of 'living freely' into a product that is uniquely yours.
Theme 2: "Ig-Nobel-driven development"
Addressing social issues and improving operational efficiency are important. However, we also believe that humour and playfulness are at the heart of creativity.
"Ig-Nobel-driven development" is the tech department that takes nonsense seriously. It brings together ideas that make you amusing, concepts you'll want to share, and gimmicks that prompt the question, "Who on earth would use that?" The unexpected "next wave of technology" may well emerge from the chemical reaction between serious technology and nonsense ideas.
