Siam Reiwa International Co, Ltd (SRI) has announced the launch of Canna Pi, an agricultural product traceability system based on Symbol's blockchain technology, developed in collaboration with Gifu University of Japan through joint industry, university and government research. This technology is expected to solve the problems of illegal cultivation and counterfeit sales. It is also expected to build trust between retailers and consumers.
The event included discussions on strengthening cooperation between the Japanese and Thai hemp industries and promoting the industry. An agreement signing ceremony was also held with representatives from both countries, further strengthening the partnership.
